Newbie Here Quick Question

Post by JTAL604622 »

I am looking to buy Harpoon 3 again (used to own 3 before Matrix took over and cannot activate game again) i played the demo of CE and am wondering if a) is there a demo of matrix harpoon 3? b) beyond visual difference is there any other advantages of spending the additional 10 dollars or so for the ANW version versus the CE?

Also is there a way to export or save the log files in both versions so I can review what happens when the AI crushes me at sea..lol.

Yes, there is a demo available for ANW.  It is now expired, but if you dial your system clock back to January 1, 2009, I think that you can still run it.

There are significant differences between ANW and HCE.  They should be pretty apparent if you can run through both the demos.

The AALogs are simply text files that you can open with Notepad or Word for your viewing pleasure after the game is over.

On the 'other' version, HCE, see MessageLog.txt for the what streamed thru the message log window during your play. There are also a host of logging options, many of which are explained in the beta tester manual at http://harpgamer.com/harpforum/index.php?showtopic=3574
