Menu color?

I'm running 1.4 Matrix edition JTCS and ever since I started playing the games if I use the menus and do next unit etc, the damn menu names lose the color ( they look whited out dull, IE Options File Reinforcements etc).

It isn't a major bug but it is damn annoying even tried running in Win 98 compatability but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated! [:)]

Oh also forgot to mention I have WinXP. BTW the color returns to the menus for awhile when I put the cursor over them but if I move units or end turn a few of them always get greyed out!

Do you use the XP look of the task bars, buttons etc, or the old classic look? I use the classic and don't run into any problems, just a thought.
