The PBEM-scenario has, among other things, been updated with HQ and logistics units:

I had some minor issues with the downloads. It has now been fixed. If any of you have any problem with the files, try downloading them again.

Have made a further update to ETO. Only difference is that it is now a little faster to move in mud. For you that have already downloaded the scenario before and want this update, just replace the scenario folders. Nothing will happen to saved games.

The version is now 1.3b

I have heard of "factory ships" but this is ridiculous.

Factory ships?? That's no factory ships, that's unheard of! It is the - for it's time extremely modern - Danish submarine production sites. They function like normal submarine shipyards apart from the fact that they were supposed to produce submarines underwater and therefore able launch them immediately upon construction. The scheme was dropped as the workers drowned. [:)]

In fact, the reason why these buildings show up at not so appropriate locations, is because you're not using the Uxbridge map. I warned you about that, didn't I? Below you can see how it is supposed to look: ships symbols with a red arrow, pointing towards the trigger hex for the straits on the naval map.

Missed this question. Sorry.

Ships (as in post above) are hexes vital for access between ports or sea areas in the fleet display.

Hexes with dollar signs are either "ports", i.e, departure/arrival places, for Axis overland trade of PP's, or hexes that has to be occupid in order for this trade to work. Germany can trade with Italy only if Innsbruck is Axis, and with the Balkan countries (except Hungary) only if Nis is Axis held. "Ports" need to be controlled in the sending as well as recieving country.

Oil barrels points towards heavy oil deposit sites. These are normal resource hexes, often with a high value, marked only for historical significance. Some of these hexes contain part of the German or British economy, however, and are important places for these countries. These hexes are marked by the country's national flag.
