Does the "coming soon" in the store not work for anyone else?

To add a physical shipment it's an extra $10 PLUS another extra $10.85. That seems unreasonable. I can simply go to Gamestop and get it for $39.99; that saves me the extra $20.85. I'm baffled by these Matrix Games prices and fees. I will call my local Gamestop to see if it's in. I can wait for them to order it if it's not in.

Some might say I can just get the download for $39.99. I prefer to have a disk(a box is cool too) for replaying insurance in the future.

Or just burn the d/l to a CD for that same insurance.

It's $39.99 at Gamestop and $49.99 for the download here? That's a first.

Good point. It's something to consider. I prefer to have my games in their boxes on a shelf. I know it's a minor point but part of a hobby/collection. When I have too many older games I give them away.

I do the same, but lately I have had a desire for some of those older games and they are not there. [:(]

$49.99 PLUS $10.85 shipping and handling. Total: $60.84. Seems like a pricing scheme to take advantage of a new release that may be suddenly highly anticipated. I know companies need to profit but...an extra $20.85(total: $60.84) to get as physical copy as opposed to going to retail and getiing it for the $39.99 seems...unreasonable.

Okay. My three posts were related to the topic of the the three threads; others posted on other topics with similiar responses in more than one thread. (Yeah, I noticed it also deleted from thread: 'Armada 2526 Now Available from Matrix Games!') /smirk. I understand that you want little negativity discussed about your products. Being an open minded host to potential customers is different than being a boss to employees.

Odd way to talk to perspective customers. Also, odd pricing to customers. Other companies include a physical copy with a download at no EXTRA charge.

People might start saying I am trying to argue. I am just responding. I thank you for your responses and I am still watching this game. I hope it succeeds and that we all have fun playing it.

Please respond on this issue in the new thread you created. This is not an odd way to respond to customers, it's basic forum etiquette.

There is no pricing scheme, and it is $39.99 for the Download here, which is the same download price GameStop will have. The physical price here is $49.99 because the pricing in this case was synchronized on the Download price and we cannot offer the Physical at the same price, while GameStop apparently can.

You are not paying any more here for the download than anywhere else. If you prefer to purchase a copy at GameStop, you are welcome to do so.

I think what he's driving at is the Download+Physical shipment is $49.99 PLUS $20 more for shipping and handling fees and tax. Whereby the physical copy from Gamestop is $39.99 and just plus tax quite a bit of a big difference and confusing as heck as to why. It reads like the convenience of downloading it will only cost you $20 more and that is a laugh.
