I am non-US player too.. when is Thanksgiving ? Thanks in advance

There is one "feature" of the internet that is quite useful when posing a question to yourself and desiring an answer. It's called "GOOGLE" ... so to try this ... go to

www.google.com

And type in your search words - like in this case THANKSGIVING ... press search ... and you will be presented with a list of matching webpages!!! [:)]

I actually have had GOOGLE as my home page for about 7 years now - it's great!!!

[&:]hmm. This Google thing you speak of must be something new and innovative.

I'm thankful you mentioned it. The only other alternative is to ask Terminus. [:'(]

Isn't Terminus the be all and end all of information sources? [&:] Who's this Google person? I haven't seen him here in the forums so he must be someone who has not seen the light yet.

I know, "to GOOGLE something" became a standart phrase instead of "to search for something in the internet".
What would happen to TERMINUS's confidence, if we replace this phrase with the "to TERMINUS something" ? [:D]

Thanksgiving in America is on the last Thursday in November--tomorrow as of when I posted this. So expect the beta in the next 12-14 hours.

I'm waiting for the beta to come out for two reasons.  I'm curious as to what is covered and (most importantly) it starts the time clock for when the official patch 2 comes out (however long that turns out to be). [:D]

The other thing to keep in mind between Beta and Official... there will "likely" be zero data changes between the Beta Patch and the Official Patch...which means games started under Beta "should" be able to be continued under the Official Patch....without worrying about some crucial data change affecting the game.

...or maybe the 4th Thursday in November (looking to 2012 for the distinction)

I guess it won't be long before someone starts a "Patch 2 has ruined this game" thread.

Oh well, might need to do a few quick turns to catch up to the anniversary dates when December comes,

It would appear to me, just reading the boards here, that the public beta has been very successful.  Quite a few little (and some not so little) items have been caught and squashed.

Nice job so far.

The fog is clearing - I see a patch 02 a commin' !!!
REALLY important question:

I have the choice between doing a boring social thing either tonight or tomorrow night (yes, inlaws...).
I have to decide within one hour.
So...
If patch 02 comes out today, before 8 o'clock CET, I'd like to stay home and try it out and push my inlaws to tomorrow. Friday is seldom a gaming night anyway.
On the other hand, if patch 02 doesn't arrive today, I'd much rather get the inlaws over with tonight, so they don't steal my friday evening away.

See my predicament?
I have to know, within the next hour, if patch 02 arrives before 8 o'clock CET today.
Otherwise I'll be making my inlaw-decision completely in the dark - with potentially tragic consequences...

Mr. Wilkerson - please help a poor guy out of an ugly catch 22...!
regards,

Briny
