Hey there past! Glad to see you. How have you been ?
Better than a sharp stick in the eyeball. I got talked out of retirement for a year, and I have to admit that I did miss teaching.

But now I'm missing unemployment. I guess I've just become a lazy old slut anymore.
Put my faith in the people
And the people let me down.
So, I turned the other way,
And I carry on anyhow.

Bruce old dawg, if you could really see me, you wouldn't think it was so good.

In any event, I just had to stop by briefly to see how you maniacs were doing. Good to see you're still the same old maniacs.

Termy seems to be mellowing with age, though. Yer all taking it far too easy on the dismal Dane...

Hi all,
ORIGINAL: sprior

Weather forecast for the Sussex area:

This is to let you know that we have issued advisories of severe weather for our area after midnight tonight, tomorrow and again on Saturday. These showers will be heavy in places with hail, thunder and blustery west to south-westerly winds. We could see 30-50mm of rain in places by the end of tomorrow (Thursday). There is a possibility of some surface water flooding, especially as there is a lot of debris around following the recent high winds.

Brace for impact then...

I did not know you were teaching law. I taught three semesters of business law here in town a few years back. It was fun, but working full time in a practice made it difficult to make the most of the experience. I may try again down the road when I retire.
That was my phony baloney primary pseudo-profession for 16 years. I still have trouble believing they paid me to do that.

Once you got tenured, the school commissioned a portrait of you to hang in the law library. Mine came out looking like I was so uncomfortable in the chair, I was going to jump up any second and scream, "These hemorrhoids are KILLING me!"

Well...a lot of it is not heavily populated and quite cold. Pretty much perfect wolf habitat.

They do, apparently.
