1094 error in pilot management

Love the pilot system now.

Bug in management. Put pilot from dutch bomber group I VIG III into general reserve and he was placed in as fighter reserve not bomber.

Is it possible that he started in a fighter group?

The type of plane the pilot flies is based on his original group. While this sounds right, I just noticed that the pilot's plane type doesn't change on assignment to reserve/TRACOM from a group if he already has been assigned a 'plane type'.

As pilots can be assigned to a group different to the original one, then their plane type should reflect the group's they are being transferred from.

Pilots are getting assigned their plane type on transfer. Not sure what the problem is.
Any chance of a save before assigning?

In the editor Bosman M.P is assigned a plane type of fighter, but he is initially in a Bomber group.
This may be confusing things...let me run a few more tests.

Okay. That was the problem.
In ONE place I assumed the setting was right as the pilot belonged to a group.
Will add in the check here as well.

that was quick. I am pretty sure it was the original group he was assigned. Of course, I have been playing a little with the system [:D]
