Fresh meat

Post by Frug »

G'day,

I am just about jumping out of my skin waiting for UV to arrive in the post. I ordered it from Vortigern in Aus (near Lismore, NSW i think).

Reading the posts made puchasing UV a pretty easy decision....

Hats off to the UV team for doing so much to engender the love of the gaming community!

G'day mate 'n' welcome (and other colonialisms).

Where abouts are you located?

Oh, and grab a copy of the flag if you want (so we can all know who to defend against those nasty foreign posters).:p

Welcome aboard. The aussies on this forum are nice and pretty polite until they play you in PBEM, and then they turn bloody nasty (AA is giving me a run for my money as we speak).

You know, I just noticed that it looks like we're following each other round like a herd of randy wombats (glad I'm no longer at the front).

I wonder why so many of us turned up when we saw the title "Fresh Meat"??????

AA is Admiral Arctic - he's a Brisbane guy who has a nasty habit of moving faster than I expect - he is always a day earlier than I can handle.

Thats right.....Matrix has zip. What you have to do is to copy mine (right click and copy) and then in your "user cp" upload it to the matrix server.

I'm here.

I read some of the forumns but really don't have time to add to other peoples good ideas.

But I have worked out why the Akagi didn't have much CAP in the battle it got hit. Both Shokaku and Akagi had 80% CAP and Escort orders. But the Shokaku had 83 planes on board because I transfered Shoho's Zeors onto Shokaku and at the time of transfer- only 68 planes were on the carrier. I thought any replacements would have been restricted to the carrier's limit so I didn't check. But the Shokaku received too many planes. During the battle- none of Shokaku's aeroplanes even took off as their fatigue stayed less than 10. (And if you remember- only 18 Zeros went up- which is about 80% of the 24 Zeros on Akagi.)
So if the carrier is overloaded none of the planes fly.

By playing someone on the same time zone makes it much easier to do many turns in a day.

I hope I can match your skills.
I'm a hazard to myself.

Hey Fellas,

I got it this morning in the post so give me some time to 'train' then I'll be happy for you all give me lessons in what not to do.

It only took Vortigern 3 days to get it to me which I reckon ain't bad....

Now, for my next trick I will print out the instructions at work!!

I have received no email from you as yet. BUT 1000 thank yous to you for helping me be dodgy.

Having no printer at home is a situation I may need to change one day..but for game manuals that threaten to be large, work printer is best.
