Well its a final restart of our game and we plan to stick to it[;)] I only got the combat replay but this dosen't look to good for the Allies

7/XII/1941

Pacific

KB hit Pearl and from Combat replay it looks like a sloughterhouse for the allies BB's Pensylvania , California and Tennesse are sunk. 29 other ships are damaged some really badly but without the file i can't tell. Also 55 planes were destroyed on the ground and it costed Tree only 6 planes[:@] I plan to use Lady Lex to pick up Wake island Wildcats and will try to avoid KB then both Lexington and Enterprise will be send to Australia in hope to harras Japanese Ops in that area. Will also try to intercept enemy landings in the Gilberts. I need to set up fueling stations at Pago-Pago and Suva. So i can set a fuel line to Australia and send reinforcements there. T

SWPAC/Australia

Numaea will have to be garrisoned by at least one US division also i will send a Marine Rgt to Port Moresby to beef up the defences there. I will send all S class boats to Brisbane or Townsvile and set a sub base there to operate in the Salomon's. Will send an Ausie Division to Port Moresby ASAP as well i will evac Rabaul but i plan to send the Battalion stationing there to Singapore as its part of the division which biggest part is in Malaya. Will send some reinforcements overland to Darwin. While 2 Bn's from there will go to Singapore.

DEI

Will haul all possible troops to defend Java and will set 2 surface TF's on based at Soreboja other in Batavia to intercept japanese landings and try to slow them down... i just hope i will be able to take some of those japs with me becouse i dubt my ships will survive. Also i need to form convoys to carry fuel out from the DEI to Darwin and Perth. I will also try to supply Phillipines and Singapore from Java.

Phillipines

Iba and Clark were hit lightly[:)] Good for me i plan to make my final stand at Bataan since it has a nice CD unit that will defend my troops from naval attacks. Catalina units will transport troops from Cebu to Luzon. I plan to make Japs pay for this area so i will try to contest enemy landings. All ships will head to DEI except for the subs. Those will have their skippers replaced to most agressive ones i can find with priority of S class boats since their torpedos actualy work.

Malaya

Force Z got cloubbered and POW and Repulse are gone[:@] Buffalos were able to shot down 15 Betty's/Nell's. RAF attacks on ships of Khota Bahru is unsucesfoul. Will try a big torpedo attack in 2 days. I will abandon Alor Star and then gradualy fall back down the Peninsula. I plan to reinforce my troops in Malaya with rest of the 8th AIF division and 2 Indian Brigades bound for Singapore already loaded on ships. I will also send a squadron or two from the AVG to fight the enemy airforce.

Burma/India

I will reinforce Burma with 18th British Division and 17th Indian Division. But i don't plan to hold Rangoon will just delay the Japanese from conquering the area to quickly. In India will send most of my troops to Dacca Calcutta area and to Burmanese border to build airbases there.

China

I will try to create a stable front and will no take any offensive actions.

Update

Small update i checked the damage done to PH it turns out that combat replay and operations replay lied!!!! 4 BB's were sunk at Pearl the ops report told me that loss of BB Tennesse was admited but she is only heavly damaged... still its bad that i lost 4 BB's 2 other are in bad shape and only one will return to service within few months.

Finaly was able to do the turn.

Pacific

I Sent Lady Lex to pick up Wake Wildcats as i don't want to lose them. Big E is making a dash south to avoid the KB which will move W for sure. I transfered some Vindicators to Midway in hope they will maybe attack jap replenishemnt TF. All subs except those around Wake and Midway were recalled to PH to have their skippers exchanged. Also all subs from West Coast were send to Pearl and some S-Class boats from there will be moved to SWPAC ASAP. Im starting to organize convoys carrying troops to Numaea, Suva and a Marine Brigade that will go to Port Moresby. 2 US CA's were send to ambush japanese landings in the Gilberts[:)]

SWPAC

Organized few convoys to ferry supplies to Port Moresby and send some Cruisers to Townsville to harras enemy ships in the Salomons. S-class boats will be stationed in Townsville so i need to send an AS there. Also one Ausie division will be send to Port Moresby ASAP as well as a base force from Townsville. All Battalions belonging to 8th AIF division started embarking and will head for Singapore.

DEI

Forming convoys to ferry Fuel to Australia and Supply to Singapore and Manila lots of ship movement will take place as many transport vessels will be evaced to either Cape Town/Colombo or to Australia

Phillipines

Most of the sub skippers in the Asiatic Fleet were replaced so the min aggresivnes of them is 60 something[:D] i hope they will make many attacks. Land forces are prepping for Bataan and some additional PI units are being flown in to Luzon from Cebu and Iolio. Tankers will try to save as much fuel as possible. Also all civi's were ordered to escape to the DEI

Malaya

Alor Star will be evacuated ASAP and my first defensive line will be south of Georgetown. All planes were ordered to stand down except fighter cover of Singapore. i need to reorganize my base forces and attack enemy shipping of Khota Bahru.

sametimes it do: you can air transport restricted unit with restricted air but you cannot airlift restricted unit with UNrestricted air: try to pick up a unit in a island near PH and you see

7/XII/1941

Well Treespider is back but he asked me to restart since new hotfixes appeared so i agreed since we only played 1 turn with historical start.

Im really happy with the turn outcome. Force Z got attacked and POW was sunk by enemy bombers while Repulse was damaged but she should live. I will send her to Singapore to patch her up:) and then to Colombo for repairs. Japanese attack on Pearl didn't work so well only Arizona was sunk. The rest of the BB's are damaged but should live. Japanese air attacks in Phillipines didn't go so well Clark was lightly damaged and most of my B-17's are ok to be transfered elswhere. My perior startegy stands. So now im weaiting for the 2nd turn but this can take time since we are approching new years eve:)

India/China/Burma

As for now everything is quiet im sending 2 AVG squadrons to Malaya to boost my defense there. Lots of shuffling of troops. Few small japanese air raids done with no damage.

Malaya

Alor Star was bombed again and my troops there are evacuating further South. Khota Bahru fell but no of my units surrendered[;)] Also allied
sub scored it's first kill as AV Sagara Maru was torpedoed off Singora by KVII. Damaged BC Repulse reached Singapore and will head out as soon as all of water is pumped out. I will send rest of Aussie division here from Rabaul/Darwin as well as 2 Indian Brigades to prolonge the fight.

Phillipines

Few enemy sweeps and enemy ships spotted N of Luzon. US subs send to intercept.

Pacific

Planes from Lady Lex sunk a jap DD that bombarded Midway. apart from that some frackking I-boat took a shoot at Big E lucky for me it was a miss. some poor AVD didn't have so much luck and was sunk NE of Pearl.

Another Quiet Turn... enemy sweept Singapore with Zeros i lost 5 Bufflos to that sweep i fear it may be a opening for a bombing campaign against Singapore. All planes were rebased from there so no problem. Japanese troops landed at Appari.

Phillipines

A good turn here enemy sweeped and bombed Empty Clark Field[:D] For no damage. Another Japanese landing occuring at Vigan.
Enemy bombers tryed to attack Manila and were intercepted by P-40's enemy lost 15 Nell's/Betty's for no damage. I estaminate enemy sweeps over Manila so my fighters were relocated to Clark. British PT's attacked enemy ships of Vigan but lost 6 for no damage in return[:@] I will try to do something different next time i will send US Asiatic Fleet ships from Borneo to attack enemy landings this may suprise my opponent. My subs were really active.... got of 3 shots at enemy ships but all were DUD the last one made me angry... just look on the picture[:@] To speed up evacuation of Cebu and Jolo i will send in some chinise Dakotas[:D]

Malaya

Enemy bombardements in Northern Malaya i will try to intercept them with the AVG next turn as now all my fighters are protecting Singapore where temporary repairs on Repulse are taking place[:)] I estaminate that in a day or two she will sail to Batavia and then Colombo or Cape Town.

Pacific

KB is W of Johnston retireing my CV's are safe now. When i will spot KB somewhere far from the Marshall's i will raid the place using my 3 CV's this might do something to disrupt my opponent plans[:)] Few convoys carrying Fuel and troops left West Coast.

SW Pac/Australia

I will set up submarine bases in Perth, Darwin, and Townsville. Japanese landed on some small island N of Rabaul... i wounder why??

Japanese Landings occured in Kuantan[X(][X(][X(] Tree is getting aggresive well lets se what i can do about it. Firce air battle over Singapore. I lost some Buffalos for some Oscars and Zeros.

Phillipines

Air combat over Clark i lost around 20 fighters but got a decent Number of Zeros in return i will winthraw my fighters to Manila i need to conserve them for a special purpose. 4 Submarines scored hits around Luzon but all were DUDS[:@]

The attack on enemy shipping of Kuantan resulted in number of hits scored. Some AK's were hit by bombs or torpedos but that was probably some wishfoul thinking as no ships were reported sunk[:@] Japs are sweeping Singapore. My defensive plan is working as for now even with japs capturing Kuantan. My escorts shoot down some funny jap floatplanes trying to defend the invasion force.

P - 40 sweept Appari i killed around 15 Nate's for 2 P-40's[:)] My subs scored 4 hits which were dud's but i lost another 2 boats!!!! something happend to the ASW??? or something. Enemy troops took San Fernando and are moving on Clark... i have a nasty suprise for them:)

Apart from that nothing interesting is happening.

Burma

First troop convoy will arrive to Rangoon in the matter of days. So i will be organizing air power to defend it.

Malaya

Hmmmmm strange enemy ships off Kuantan dissapeared. No matter. Enemy landed a Brigade worth of ground troops with support.
I will not try to hold them or anything since the brigade that was pulling out of Kuantan will be mauled since it changed from move mod to combat mode by itself. Evacuation of Northern Malaya is almost Complete. Repulse will sail for Batavia tomorrow with adequed escort. Also all fighters in Singapore were send to 100% CAP to keep the damaged BC safe. First supply convoy should Arrive to Singapore within 2 days also around a week out is a troop convoy carrying 2 Indian Brigades. If i estaminate that the risk of running them Singapore is to high they will be send on to help Defend Java. Dutch subs made 3 succesfoul attacks off Malaya while a US sub scored 2 torp hits near Saigon

DEI

Japs landed at Miri so i send 3 british DD's that escaped HK to intercept and i run into 2 japanese CA's that shoot my ships to pices. Apart from the All DEI air squadrons are training while Flying boats and transports carry troops to Java from bases around it.

Phillipines

US/Philipino forces are almost concentrated at Clark and will fall back to Bataan but first i plan a nasty suprise for Tree. There is a Japanese force around 300AV moving to Clark when they move there i will Shock attack them with around 1500 AV i just hope it will couse some damage[:D] Also US Asiatic Fleet ships were send to intercept a japanese landing W of Luzon on some small island. They will head for Manila after that so i set all avaliable P-40's to Defend the sky above the Port maybe some Betty's will take the bait. US S class sub hit enemy merchant off Luzon.

Enemy sweep of Singapore encountered around 80 Allied fighters allied lost 6 fighters during the day and claimed 4 Zeros in return[:)]

Phillipines

Lots of action enemy landing force was attacked by Boise and Marblehead TF but it eneded with trading shoots with the escorts... next turn Dutch and US ships will attack enemy landings on Palawan and Panay i wonder if those two are protected[:D] Also enemy bombers attacked Manila in the fight some enemy bombers were shoot down.

Sub War

S- 38 had a good day first it put a torp into a AK and then another 3 torps in different one[:D] Lost 3 Subs today to mines[:@][:@][:@]

14 - 20/XII/1941

India/Burma

All spare troops from Northern India were send to the South to cover potential landing areas and garrison the Burma Border. All troops bound for Rangoon arrived unmolested. I plan to send additional brigade from Karachi to combine 17th Indian Division and send 18th British Division there to ASAP. Some small Jap units are moving on Moulemein but they are not a threat now... or as far as im concerned.

Malaya

As you can see on the attached picture Tree did not make any significant gains. 2 brigades from 9th Indian were mauled one in Khota Bahru other while it was moving out of Kuantan. But 2 Indian Brigades arrived to Singapore as well as Gull and Sparrow Bn's only Lark Bn is missing to combine entire Australian Division. Im a bit concerned since no large enemy formations are spotted in Malaya and im tempted do organize a counter attack on enemy formations. Enemy air activity is limited to Sweeps over Singapore where 2 squadrons of AVG are located and with the help of Bufflos they are doing a good job. Leatly Tree used Sally's to bomb Singapore 2 days in a row but damage was minimal at best becouse of heavy FLAK. Intel tell's me of other Jap units moving to Singora by ship so i need to send my subs there as now they are going to Singapore to replenish. Allied subs of Saigon are really agressive attacking 2 or 3 ships a day but all hits are dud's[:@][:@]

DEI

On Borneo Tree took Sinkawang two days ago... i send a Small British/US/Dutch TF to intercept with a sucide mission with a hope maybe some lucky hit on enemy CA or BB escorting the landing. When my ships arrived by some miracle they avoided Jap surface forces and massacred a convoy of around 30 ships and then escaped unmolested[:D][:D][:D] I tell you Tree was fuorius when he saw that[:D][:D][:D]
Japs also took Ternate, Sorong and a base just W of Ambon. Tree also landed at Ambon but my defenders are holding[:D][:D][:D] Huston with some DD's moved to intecept but was intercepted by two jap CA's and was shoot up (not to badly) with one of my DD's lost to no enemy losses. Most of my Shipping is Evacuated from the DEI.

Philippines

Last few days Tree send over a 100 Zero's on Sweeps of Manila and Clark last turn i send all my remaining fighters to defend Clark and i scored nearly 1 to 1 in Kills... later enemy bombers visited Clark but damage was minimal. Now i don't know what is going on... Tree stoped after capturing Iba and Lingayen and he is not moving foward... maybe i should counterattack[&:][&:][&:] Ohhh and i have my first ace he is in a P-40E unit in Clark. I will evac all pilots when i will lose the planes this way i will have some decent flyboys in my units.

Pacific

All damaged BB's from Pearl are on their way to West Cost for Repairs[:)] Tree landed on Canton and Furfunati or something.... apart from that nothing is happening


Over all im a bit puzzeld where did most of the Japanese forces go[&:] i wonder what tree is up to...

20 - 25/XII/1941

Burma

Around 5 jap units are traveling to Mulemein hmmmm im bombing them but i do not have enough planes to do it... i just hope i will be able to tie them up untill more
reinforcements are send to Rangoon. Also i need to be on guard for enemy flank action from Chiang Mai or further North.

Malaya

Singapore AF is shut down becouse of a continus bombardment by enemy plane's same go's for Johore. Enemy took Georgetown and Taiping... also Lark force got sunk by a sub[:@] any way i can't send anything more to Malaya as its totaly shut off by enemy bombers from Singkawang

DEI

Send in a number of B-17's to bomb Singkawang[:D][:D] got some Betty's/Nell's on the ground[:D] and some crappy duth bombers hit enemy Rafinery complex in Miri. Enemy CV TF is spotted between Celebes and Borneo. I think it's time to evac all avaliable ships from the DEI as Tree will probably attack soon. I will send additional B-17's and bomb Singkawang again[:D]

Probable KB spotted E of Rabaul... hovering there for like 2nd turn in a row...
