You may say I'm a dreamer...
As long as I get the patch today before 20.00 CET.

You won't get the patch today, before or after 8 o'clock CET. Happy?

On the other hand, if patch 02 doesn't arrive today, I'd much rather get the inlaws over with tonight, so they don't steal my friday evening away.

See my predicament?

Mr. Wilkerson - please help a poor guy out of an ugly catch 22...!

Do the inlaws TONIGHT! The patch probably won't be out today anyway..., and if it is, you'll have something to look forward to to help you get through the "boring social function". Never put off something awful..., it just gets worse with the anticipation....

Yes, I know, I know... I should get it over with.
Well okay.
Inlaws tonight, then.
And when I wake up tomorrow morning (0700, CET...!) the patch will be here.
I guess I can live with that.

I think everybody paid for WITP AE ... the former release is bugged, then, obviosly I think we must be updated about Patch 2 final release progress ? must we not ?. Of course, I think this is a right from the customers and a must from developers.
the only one that requested is an update about progress, no more.
I wait nobody will be disturbed by my comments, it´s no my will...only requesting info.
Best of wishes
Ramón

I just wish you would understand that we're not going to tell you when it'll be out, because we're NOT FINISHED WITH IT YET. It's not that difficult a concept.

Capitals not needed, IMHO... It´s a easy concept, really, but it is not an answer for the request. I think that many users only want to know an update about progress.. it´s not needed a exact date (i think everybody understand that it would be very dificult and unpredecible), but the progress is "near to end, only a week or so", or "the patch will be ready for christmas time".. That´s could be enough, IMHO, of course....

Please do not release the patch...I don't want to spend another 4+ hrs for first allied turn in new campaign against AI! [:D]

Hi Ramon,

I side with Terminus on this. Every time the developers release anything related to time, some of us calculate when the "promise" is to be fulfilled. Then we light up the forum with "Are we there yet?" posts. (I recognize many of those posts are just good fun, but some are serious.)

I appreciate the updates that tell us WHAT is being done. I understand the developers are reluctant to make any mention of WHEN.

...and I join you in the chorus of praise for the great work that has been done and the stunning support for this game. Wow!

Nope, I can do Allied turn for Dec 8 scenario in about 4-5 hours now. But of course, I have also played WitP since 2004, exclusively on Allied side. [8D]

I am not saying my orders are good ones, though! [:'(]

I hope they release it by December 7th!

Waiting to start a GC on the anniversary and then play along parallel with historical timeline.

That's one hell of a turn mike, hopefully one day when the devs allow us to change password, I hope you'll release your first turn as an exemplar of maybe what to do, but then again seeing as you haven't started yet this might be a bit premature. [;)]

Anyway wouldn't it be nice if there were a repository of first turns from some of the more experienced to help the hump.

Cheers

Definitely a bit premature. [:D] Years ago, when I was getting a handle on WitP, Mogami sent me one of his first turns.  I never really was able to get a good handle on it.  I think it would be same case here.  Just too much info to wrap one's brain around.  I take it in small chunks and let it go when I'm done.  I try not to make changes because there are times when I look back and can't for the life of me figure out why I did a certain thing.  All by itself, one thing doesn't make sense, but it does when looked at in conjunction with the rest of that facet.  The problem is that the rest of that particular event may include a dozen or more TFs scattered around the map.  Try finding them all. [:D]

Also, remember that I'm not at all experienced with AE.  I bought it on day 1 and have yet to send a turn in anger. [:D]
