To many Float Plane's bug

Today I am in a campaign game and just recieved the CL Denver, I went to upgrade its Float planes to OS2U-3 Kingfisher, there should be only 4, however I get 30 extra for total of 34 that are stationed on the CL Denver.

The Independence shouldn't have any float planes.  There is an OOB error, I believe corrected with patch 2 that the Denver's air unit has 44 float plane capacity instead of 4.

Edited: Im patched to the latest WITP, and I incorrectly posted the wrong photo, the CL Denver has the 44 foat planes not the Independance.

It's a bug as wdolson says, but it is not fixed in any patch up to 1.806.

Sounds like a glitch in the database... i'll see if i can get around to checking it.

i don't see a glitch in the database for scenario 16 checking Denver, Cleveland class, nor with 4/VCS-11... so, it looks like some sort of upgrade glitch...

These occur on occasion, and these kind of things seem to happen esp. with ship-based units for some reason, although upgrade problems can also hit LBA units on occasion. iirc, there have been several problems reported with Japanese float plane units over the years.

Yeah its an upgrade glitch, I went to upgrade them that's when it hit me, I now have 4 Active and 40 "reserve" floatplanes, sadly this upgrade killed my inventory of float planes.

You can remove reserve aircraft and put them back in the pool.  Use the button to the left of the reserve number.

LOL Its all good Bill, nah not on AE yet, I started this campaign around July, and of course AE comes out a month later, so I figured i'd finish this campaign to complete at least one WITP game before I make the move, figured i'd post about the bug in case anyone was working on a patch for the future.
