OK, but once you have a connection to the FTP it should not throw you off. I am now using a download manager (fortunately the FTP does support restarts) and I am on attempt 33 (each one of which would have thrown a browser download off).

Shouldn't be doing that, but the internet is a big mystery sometimes. Could be anything between us and your ISP. I can only say that we tested the downloads from our production office in VT, connecting to the servers in Colorado and there was no issue at all with the normal download link or the auto-update. The auto-update goes through a different server, so if you're having problems with our FTP you may want to try that.

OK, I have to ask: Is there any chance the update is save game safe? I know this must be addressed in the update note but I cannot find it. I am only a few turns into a PBEM game but it's been a lot of work to get even this far...

Just to add too the D/L issues. I downloaded with a download manager program and it stopped before the last few bytes and wouldnt go on. Stopping and restarting the download fixed it tho and the remaining bytes was downloaded.

Hope it helps,

"If you are playing a PBEM game, make sure both players upgrade at the same time or
you will see out of sync issues and other possible errors appearing in your game."

Forgot, what is exact procedure for PBEM?

If a older save is at hand , does the one executing the game
upgrade game and then load the old save...run the turn and then send to other who should upgrade game before
loading the Save?

Thanks thats awesome.

So other than a few bug fixes the 1094 beta stands, correct?

Can someone please explain this?

103. Disabled the ability to make a group a temporary on-map Trainer.
104. On-map Trainers will have a higher chance of OpsLoss for low EXP and/or high
FATIGUE pilots.

Does this mean we can still make units become trainer units but that they will have higher ops losses? or are trainer units disabled altogether?

If i may ask, are there any new features or fixes in the official patch compared to the previous beta (or was it alpha) ? In short, any new stuff since latest pre-patch?

Yes, if you still have the beta change list, it's pretty easy to compare (the new changes were added to the end of the code changes list).

Downloaded the patch last night, but the server was busy as the best bandwidth achieveable was 32Kbps.  Nonetheless, downloaded fine, updated fine, and had 2 PBEMs (1 in 1084 and 1 in 1084e) going and experienced no issues when loading those saves from the older revs.  I like the new search arc display as it certianly makes developing interlocking search areas much simpler.

23. Adjustments to TF merge function. TFs may fail to merge if the “meeting” TFarrives at the destination of the “met” TF before the “met” TF does.

The second sentence means you fixed the problem that TFs were failing to merge when the meeting TP got there first?

Thanks for the 1095 update. The return of the "...all aircraft in Hex" function really comes in handy! This game is worth every penny of the $80 paid.
