about fuel for ships

Post by alainciney »

Hello, I have one question about the fuel for the ships :

Is it normal that only the docked ships refuel automatically and not the anchored one ?

Actually we have the level on fuel for each ship but I also think that it will be helpful to have the maximum capacity of fuel on the ship information screen .

Regards

It can be annoying when you've got a carrier CV that needs to be "in range" of where you're sure the retiring enemy bombardment TF will be, but you aren't sure you can afford to click the refuel button and loose the time in ops points. Every time I give in I find that my ships are almost tanked full anyway.

Yes, in my experience ships will usually refuel when they arrive at a port with fuel but if they haven't done it and you disband the TF they will not do it until you transfer them into a new TF and refuel them.

I think that the reason they don't refuel automatically in some cases is that they didn't have enoough operation points left to do it but that is really just a guess.

I agree with your wish but I've found that I usually have a pretty good idea about how much fuel they can have at maximum load after playing a few games.

Ciney.. it's a very nice beer. Use to visit Belgium once a year and bring a lot of good beers back home.
