I may have just broken this fine scenario. Oooops!

Lead elements of the Grossdeutschland Panzer Korp crossed over the Meuse. The bridge is secure. The remainder of the Korp expected to cross at dawn.

This is the battle plan I drew up before starting the scenario. It's similar to the traditional battle of the bulge, but with a slight northwest hook. I had no intent on Bastone or the High Ardennes.  The goal was to follow the rail line up from St. Vith. and deliver a tremendous assault on the Meuse River. It was a simple plan. Drive, capture, and control.

The light blue squares represent fuel depots.
The green circles are VP locations.
Yellow lines mean defensive posturing to cover my flanks.
White, depending on the thickness, simply meant advance to goal.

Patrick is still on the move and his immediate objective appears to be Bastone.  Allied forces are continually being outflanked and overwhelmed.  Rivers with broken bridges seem to be but little roadbumps on the highway of his advance.  The appearance of the King Tiger tanks will only make the situation worse.  Allied reinforcements are ariving in fits and starts and little groups and do little to stem the German flow.  The moves map for turn 7 can be found at this url:

Here's the situation in the far north at the start of Allied turn 8. The Germans have found an intact bridge and have thrust a very strong force across it and there is relatively nothing between them and Antwerp. The situation looks grim.

Turn 8's moves map is ready to publish.  Note the strong German force in the far north taking a ride toward Antwerp waving at the British troops that are still in reorg.  You can find the turn 8 map at this url:

Losses for the Axis through turn 8. Lost about 12% infantry thus far. Armor losses a lot less. Hetzers have taken it on the chin.

Turn 9 is finished.  Patrick has made substantial gains in the far north and the far south and is pushing hard everywhere else inbetween.  There doesn't seem to be enough Allied troops to hold back the German tide.  Especially in the far north where the British are far outnumbered.  Those British troops that are there won't be able to hold back the Axis for very long and there are holes opening in the Allied lines in the far south.  The turn 9 moves map can be found at this url:

I saw where Patrick had posted his turn 8 losses and thought it might be a good idea to post the Allied turn 8 losses also. Here they are.

It's turn 10 and Patrick has punched holes in my lines and making progress in lots of spots. I got some reinforcements but they are too little too late. The Axis forces are winning all over the map.  You can find the moves map for turn 10 at this url:

You're being pessimistic! All my reserves are committed, and the advance is at a snail's pace. Those fortified units are extremely difficult.

Yes, thanks Kurt. If you go to my profile you can see my e-mail next to my name. I'm not sure if we have anybody playing against the PO yet. You don't need to post AAR's or even post, just be nice to have someone with a different play style from me test it out.

Hey guys, thanks for finding the thin situation in the north. I found some nice Allied situation maps, this one is from 12-16-44. It shows I am missing several divisions in that area. I will be making some changes. Sorry for giving you a northern flank headache Mr. Fulkerson, but the entire XXX Corps should be arriving, turn 12 I believe.
