Awesome job on the Patch!

Just wanted to say awesome job on the patch guys. I have 1.02 installed and with the default settings all my lag problems are history even with everything turned on. Before I had to turn off night effects and any highlights just to be able to move the map around. And then it was so fast it jumped across half the screen just if I lightly touched the screen edge.

I especially like the ability to set time to 1 min = 2 sec, now I can actually follow what is going on during the turn. Looks like I’ll be able to play the defending sides now as well since I couldn’t really deal with the fast pace of the game on my system before.

For those with Vista 64 who are still sitting on the fence over purchasing this one as I was until a week or so ago, the game is now very stable on my rig. Definitely worth the price of admission.

well, this is a prerelease beta, if nothing major pops up, it will be the Off Patch released for next week

once the Off Patch is released, I will post up a newer OOB (I didn't want to release a new OOB that a patch would overwrite)
