Sub Surface attack

since the last patch my subs attack a lot more on the surface, oke with me.
but they engage with 2 ammo left for the deckgun and submerge when the engagment starts without launching torpedos 'cause they are low on ammo [&:]
Don't think this is right, any one has the same experience?

as far as personal games, you can mod the ammo in the editor, for PBEM, well I'm finding the subs to be far too effective in AE anyway. In an AI game, I've already sunk as much shipping in 1 month as Japan sank in the whole time of the real war with submarines. I have something like 80-90 ships killed by subs! [X(]

Hopefully the hotfix will be out soon and fix this problem.

I wish the American and Dutch got as many attacks off as the Japs do.&nbsp; I've had the Mini-KB run over a string of about 10 subs multiple times in my PBEM.&nbsp; Not so much as a whiff of an attack, and I have the "lane" well scouted with patrol planes.

Not in my experience. The AI has 20 sitting off the home islands that I can see ATM, and they are quite agressive.

Na, just ranting that I had my ambush setup perfectly, over three times, to get a strike or three on the Mini-KB in a PBEM, and got nothing!!!!

If you draw the line from Palau to Sorejaba(sp)... I had basically a subline over this route. Mini-KB has traveressed it three times. Once as a Sorejaba raid, once chasing after Force Z, once covering an invasion fleet. NOt a single strike!!!! Gaa. Not even a torp launched.

My point isn't that there are no attacks, there are plenty. but why attack on the surface if you are out of deckgun ammo [&:]
