Passing the hat to hire a hula-hula dancer for Joe and the devs!

Post by fbs »

I say we send the devs a hula-hula dancer as a token of our appreciation for their most excellent work in Hotfix, Patch 1, Hotfix, Hotfix, Patch 2 and then the latest Hotfix.

Don't be shy now, let's pass the hat around and let's contribute. Who knows, someone may actually know a hula-hula dancer.

fbs <== adds $20 in the hat

Cheers [:D]

I think this is an excellent idea. Strictly voluntary of course, but if they could create a link to donate to, via use of CC online, I'd gladly put 20$ in the hat to go to the developers. No Digital River servers nonsense, I want to know my donation is 100% going into the pockets of the guys who are putting in the work.

We can dispense with the expense of unknown females. I'll bet some of the present or former forum regulars would be glad to dress in drag and do the hula. Perhaps Gen. Hoepener (you remember HIS avatar photo, don't you?!), Marky, or Q-Ball (a Yankee who allegedly has pasty white arms and thighs).

That's a good idea, Jim - perhaps someone could create a way to make donations to buy hardware/software/resources (and perhaps hire the hula-hula dancer) for the developers/testers for the continued development of WITP.

Thanks,

You do realise that the game is just an excuse. They only made it so they could hang out (in an electronic sense) and talk with us [;)]

Yes, we like to hear all the many variations on the theme of "THIS GAME IS BROKEN". I especially enjoy Opus 13 in D Minor, "PT Boats Suck!"

Those who are very satisfied with an awesome game far outnumber those who are unhappy. We have confidence that the Dev Team will continue to listen patiently to the masses, note what really is important and change it.

I'd be satisfied with an 18 year Macallan and not having to read email or forum posts for one month....

Bump to anyone who has the ability to set up a donation site.

Or you can all mail it to SC. I will make sure the devs get the cash[:D]
