Windowed Mode not working

I followed the directions for windowed mode but its not working for me. I have all patches and hot fixes installed. Running on windows XP.

In the target line I typed "C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\autorun.exe" -w

I made sure there was a space before -w

Game still runs fine, just wont go to windowed mode.

any Ideas?

It looks good to me. But perhaps you could show a screen print of your shortcut?
Maybe something else is wrong with it. Being so late maybe I'll have a better idea in the morning.

not autorun link, use the link to quick start or just create a new shortcut to War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe then pin to start menu.

I did put it in the target field of the the quick start LINK. What I posted previously was copied and pasted from the target field. I even tried creating a new link.

Here is a copy of mine from the shortcut properties, just adapt as needed.

"C:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -altFont -cpu4 -multiaudio -dd_sw -w
