If your serial is invalid contact matrixgames support
http://www.matrixgames.com/helpdesk/step_login.asp

For rectangle provided is invalid

try lowering your screen resolution and see if that works.

Do you have a very large monitor?

What is it's native resolution?

If decreasing screen resolution doesn't work Try Turning down/off direct draw acceleration.

The games sytem requirements state

Video card capable of displaying  1024 x 768

i do believe you can set up your netbook to actually scroll the screen to accomodate this.

Look in your netbooks manual... it will probably involve right clicking on your desktop and changing the display options.
