I wonder how well your system would work if you added a few million illegal emigrants a year to your system-people that only use services, but don't pay anything in. There are a large number of good people in need both in China and India that are not too far from Australia. I suggest that the entire Australian Navy be dispatch to begin an evacuation of Calcutta and Shanghai into Australia for starters.

So let me get this straight.

The USA is not capable of providing a decent public health care system because they can not control their borders and allow in to many illegal emigrants.

Australia is only capable of having a decent public health system because we dont pay for China and Indonesia's health system.

Somehow pride, taxes and crime prevent health care. I can see that you might need to pay taxes but I am not sure you and I are on the same planet. I am just going to nod and wave. Whatever your point, I am sure you think you are right.

Well I do get two checks from the government every year. My income tax return and my state income tax return. Other than that is is all going the other way.

But good news from Der Trolls Nest:

The Aussie moderator is my long time friend "Schrecken" from days long gone by in the Close Combat community. We have spoken to each other and exchanged mail. He is an unrepentent liberal and naturally resorts to liberal talking points, i.e. slander, when there are no cogent arguments to support his point of view.

It's all they got.


Doggie says he gets $900 a month from the government which probably means $1800. It may not be called welfare but I don't think they use that word anymore because it makes the people getting their free ride feel bad. It's all part of that political correctness I keep hearing about.

I do think it is hypocritical to be so vocal and concerned about what other people get. Maybe people like that should find a way to take care of themselves before they worry so much about other people.
