WW2 in Europe

Post by macgregor »

This is a huge scenario by Gabriele for aCoW. Having finally managed to get Toaw to run on my new harddrive, I've converted it for Toaw3(saved it in the editor) but haven't had a chance to play through too much as the AI cannot be controlled. I'm curious if anyone has played it. If so, how far and of course, what they thought about it.

Have played the scenario until half way through the spanish civil war against human opponent. I found that there were to many sea roads in spain so that to many units retreated into the sea that otherwise i belive would of held out alot longer.(So decided to play EA not liking some of the combat results against the weak french units but thats another matter). Could not comment on rest of scenario but it does look good, would be interested in trying it again altough i dont know what can be done about the sea roads.
we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender
