EDBtR won't install - won't accept serial number on CD

Today I received my copy of Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich. I got the CD version, ordered through another vendor.

When trying to install, the installer won't accept the CD serial # printed on the CD, which is the same number printed on my receipt.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you enter the hyphens? that gets me every time.

The way it is printed on the CD, there are no hyphens. Just nine regular numbers, ten zeros, and a final number.

I have download version and serial number copy-paste from confirmation email without any problem. Format of the serial number is 1234-1234-1234-1234.

I contacted the vendor. They sent me the correct serial number, which is different from the one printed on the CD.

That's bizzare...

I thought it was like Mikkey described, but as I only work on dev versions, I could not confirm that it was still the case.
