can't download SPWaW

Post by cardullo »

I have tried and tried to download Steel Panthers World at War but because my server continuously drops out, I am never able to complete the download. Also, the only ftp server I am able to connect to does not support resuming. Is there any other way I can obtain this game? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am itching to get the game.:(

This is the most reliable site. SPWAW 7.1 download you would need a 3rd party program such as getright to be able to resume effeciently.

Thanks, I connected to the site you suggested just fine. But Getright says server does not support resuming. I am connecting on a LAN through a HTTP proxy server. Does this have anything to do with it?

The easiest way to get a copy of this game is to purchase one of the mega campaigns directly from Matrix or from one of their distributors. 7.1 is included on the cd and the mega campaigns are well worth the price. That way if and when you upgrade your pc or purchase a new one, you've already got a hard copy to work from.
