Air operations and Air Bases

Post by findmeifyoucan »

If an Air Base has no air support but is undamaged and has lots of supply still operate aircraft. For example if I have Nell's at a perfectly good base with supply but no engineers there yet for air support will they do any naval bombing missions?

Not sure about the details but they can still fly out their missions.
But they don't get repaired or maintained (or maybe the rate or repair is so slow).

Plus you will not fly your full complement of planes on missions without adequate aviation support.

Plus your operational accident, and write-off rate will go up, and you'll lose valuable aircraft for no good purpose.

Remember that if you airlift an Aviation Engineer Unit, the first component of that unit lifted is some of the aviation support.
