Okha availability and use

Post by Mobeer »

(i) Now I have the G4M2e bomber available, how do I tell if there are enough Okha's available for use?

(ii) Does the bomber unit have to be converted to a kamikaze unit to use the Okha rather than torpedoes?

From memory, doesn't the available number of Ohkas begin to appear in the industry/resource pool once production commences, I believe in January 1945? Since it fills one of the weapons slots for the G4M2e, I imagine you simply give a G4M2e unit a naval attack mission; available Ohkas carried by their G4M2e 'mothers' presumably then function somewhat like bombs with terminal homing. I would have thought that if you convert the G4M2e's to the kamikaze role, the bombers would simply act as kamikaze aircraft themselves, rather than carrying the Ohkas into battle.
