Timings

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Timings

Post by sprior »

have I gone completely mad or did the original BTR allow you to set the time on target or for arrival back at base instead of just departure times? The reason I ask is because now I'm doing night bombing attacks on moonless nights I used to be able to time the landings at sunrise and give the poor pilots some light to land in. Or am I just barking?

not sure I follow

the old game only let you set the take off time

you as the player, could then, work with the missions, to change the take times to get the TOT to where you wanted it to be

never seen anything, that would of helped with the time of landing

(also, trying to get them to land around sunrise is dangerous to the game, you can cause all kinds of damage, if they raid gets delayed in landing (slow, damged planes taking longer to land, then expected)

(really, you don't want the turn, running longer then the day is, you set up the game to keep running past the starting time of the next turn, it can really mess things up)

Don't get the Woof but I do like it!

No, the old BTR only let you set the launch times. Then you'd need to go into "Review Missions" to see what time they are really going to be over target... oh, wait, it is the same way. Heh.
