Loading out of somewhere like Majuro is going to be to tough on the Allied AI so I will stage everything from PH

The ground force loadout came from Pearl, actually Pearl and the Solomons. The CV Task Forces were based in the Marshals.

Andy,

I agree leader are going to be a pain. That said, Norman Scott should not be available. Not that his inclusion affects anything.

One very odd thing. When using auto-selection of TF commanders I've periodically got some unusual commanders. Admiral Drake with a naval ability of 102 being the most notable (for the main surface combat TF). Admiral Vincent wasn't quite as good but was none too shabby (naval ability in the mid 70s) -- what made "Vincent" an odd selection was that Lee was available and he's "always" the first selected.

I'm having a great time with thsi nicely designed scenario.

First I sent out subs to blanket the Marianas, with ASW task forces to cover Micronesia. Took out some Jap subs nosing around Kwajalein an Eniwetok.

Transports area sailing west with my land forces covered by tasks forces of CVLs.

The CVs, CAs, CLAAs abd DDs are heading toward the Marianas. The BBs arr heading towrd Eniwetok. They'll rendezvous witn the btransports and provide ground support.

Wasn't Terminus the lead on that? He was certainly talking about it in the forum.
