my AS is building up, but the repair rates will keep knocking that back down :(

not doing much for SD, been expecting to hit the 1 for a few turns now, oh well, always next day, (or next day)

overall, I am not knocking down enough fighters, and I am not getting enough of them up into the air

which, since I got another bad weather day, not much I can do to improve the results

I am slowly shifting forces across the map, setting up a surprise or two (which depends on who the surprise is going to be on !!!)

losses so far, a peaceful war

kind of a pain, last turn was another weather day, just sent out some high recon

but, today, we get good weather, so, looking to get 2 airfields (plotted raids to 4, with a FB run to a damaged one)

in the north, just trying to keep him awake, the trick will be to keep 12 group busy, so they can't pick on the defenceless bombers

kind of a bloodless battle to have AS of 6 already :)

this one could be confusing

start of the day, I got my high recon going in deep, but for the first time, I am also sending in normal recon, all along the coast, and with the northern raids, he should be seeing a lot of radio chatter, and may react to my recon screen, my real raids are coming later

got a heavy defended raid going to warmwell at the same time, so hopeing the recon and first raid will draw his attention

real raid is headed towards Middle Wallop later on, then hopeing that at least one of the raids to the side of London pays off (would be great if all 3 did, but, I don't expect that kind of luck)

just as the main raids should be hitting, 3 more recons will take off and head deep, those are decoys, depending on what goes on early, he may over react to the late recon

PBEM, you are playing with the other guys mind, more then you are playing against the enemy OOB

decent turn

in the north, did good, but ran into a bunch of balloons !!!

losses were a little more even, but most of that is I ran into one or two squadrons of Blethilms, and they took it on the chin

I nailed Hornchurch, and damaged some of the other fields (wanted Middle Wallop)

seen my first Ace today, of course, it was for the wrong side !!

summery screen for the end of day 6

losses for the day, my 111's from the north took a pounding, a good part of that was flying into the balloons

I am getting a lot of damaged enemy fighters, just not getting many kills

I have mentioned in the past, about moving your forces, well, I been slowing getting my units moved around

here is Luft II

because of weather and what not, I not been able to bring my full strength to bear, but shortly, I should be able to get some large raids showing up, and I am thinking, much larger then Dixie is going to be expecting

so far, I have been pinpicking

it is time for me to put Luft X to sleep, give them some rest, they going to be my ace in the hole, or, I can make a mass shift, and make one of the other commands, twice as strong (or better)

of course, those may just become my night force, 10,000 points of terror is HARD to get, but, that one point may be important down the road, but they are now large enough, to be worthwhile for some night raids

(they getting hurt during the day, and they have done there job, making Dixie keep looking to the north)

I not ready to talk about the real reason they are there

I think I said, day 6 was a bad weather day, so here is the summery for 6, day 7 turns out to be just as bad, lot of rests for both side

airfields getting repaired, so most will need a retargetting

disappointing

you know, you guys can chip in anytime now ?

kind of helps with the AAR stuff if others are saying or asking things

of course, this has been a slow one, lot of bad weather so far

last turn, I sent out 3 planes, and Dixie sent out 3 planes

but, the sun shines this morning, the Fat Boy would be happy and giddy as he sent out his orders for the morning, but, he is still asleep, that is what the flunkies are for, orders are long and complex, and have been on the teletypes for hours already

today is going to be a long one, too bad, most of the targets have already been hit, and need to be rehit, before the real targets can be gone after

basic plan for the day, is to get the RAF up into the sky, and keep them there (well, be better if I can put some of them into the ground, but...)

sooooo, will hit Tangmere, Biggen and Kenley, just to get/keep the damage up, hoping to knock out, north holt, North Weld, Deben and Fliton

Norway force will switch over to night bombing, also sending out IV on some night raids, got a minor raid going out, but that is more to see how Dixie handles a long day, depending, that opens up other options for down the road

so here is the summery page for the start of day 9

(goal is to get SD to 2, close to 3, and hopeing to get get AS to 8 (I Was at 7, but repair is knocking it down)

I think Dixie is getting used to me, following up a raid, shortly after the first one takes off, this time, I have spread them out more, giving him time to land and refuel between raids

if he responds to each raid, he is going to be pretty worn out, tired pilots make mistakes, I hope

Odd war

did good damage vs the Airfields, sucked at night

looked like I got my AS to 8 and my SD to 3, but both dropped when the repair phase came

so, 7-2-0 after 9 days

looks were close, but, I lost around 10 to crashes, and Dixie lost 2 to crashes, 1 to his AA and 4 were bombed, so numbers are not as good as they should of been

:)
