Reading combat report

Post by littleike »

This is an extract of a combat report related to the only events happened at Kota Bharu
after the first day of the campaign, allied side! (I only let the game go ahead by its own
for the first turn).

I would like to correctly read this report, but i am not sure, because some things are self
explanatory, others difficult to relate each other. So if someone could write a detailed
line by line AAR of these events i am sure i could understand better.

-who spot who?
-how read the timings?
-what does it mean "overhead"? ( sorry, i am not english mother tongue).
-some allied aircraft squadrons (in detail related to the the multiple TF attack ) are the
same planes?

If someone could translate this report as a fairy tale it will help me very much to
relate true events to the report style.

Thanks very very from a no more young boy (....statistically it seems that i lose 10 raised
to 4 neurons every day.....so be patient.........and quick!!! [:D])

Here is the report:
