Detachments?

I have noticed in the "Iron Man" scenarios that a number of air unit detachments do not display unit OOB's and cannot be recombined into a single unit. An examples of this include the following:

RAAF squadrons 11, 20, 22 & 23
USAAF 32nd BS / 19 BG

In the case of each of these units, shouldn't I be able to recombine the detachment with the parent? Am I missing something?

Not always some detachments are seperate albeit there are not many of them I will take a look
