Germany won't die

G'day the full campaign as Britain, have reached Dec 44 and between the Soviets and myself we have conquered all the German territory, but Germany won't die. They have no land units, but keep getting German events, what's the go?

well done finally one little bastion somewhere near Zealand. well having the same problem with Italy, cleaned them up in 1943, however their territory remained as German, shouldn't now be divided similarly the former German empire, or is will there be a little alcove of Italian resistance hiding somewhere on the map, a little unrealistic I think?

I think there might be a VP city somewhere that you do not yet control. Remember it can be in a country which was taken earlier in the war.  Once you have all the VP cities the Germans should fold.

Yep figured that one out some little out of the way outpost in Denmark or Norway forgotten now, but the Italian issue is another question. Conquered them early and they don't appear on the list of nations after loading a save game. Italian land says controlled by Britain owned by Italy. Prior to Germany surrendering the hexes indicated controlled by Britain owned by Germany. Something a bit screwy
