I imagine someone (probably several someones) have asked this, but since I really haven't been able to be around much for the past...um...well, a long time now, are there any projected dates for the release of ToS:WS? I've got a much better job now, and I'll soon be able to afford both a nice computer and a good internet connection, so I want to get back into this game as soon as possible.
Besides, I wouldn't want all my old ToS victims (even the ones that beat me constantly, not to name names, like Lyhrrus or anything...) to think I've forsaken them.

Hey Michael, that's good news. WS is looking *really* great, Marc S has done a formidable job on the interface. Steffan (Fosi) is back with the VB team, and is working on a 3D version of the landscape (welcome back Steffan BTW!). You'll drool all over the new layout of the factory. And battle has some new very handy features.
Release date was set to winter 2002 some time ago, don't know if it still stands.

It should be another couple of months. Possibly sooner. It will be out this Fall sometime. But I think the wait will be worth it.

Fosi is a person, not just a random name they picked for one of the AI bots? Hmm... I kick Fosi's *** regularly, it seems to be one of the AI's favorite names. Hes always on a CC recon/light titan, like axeman, apparition, swift death, duellist, e.t.c.

Actually a lot of the names used for enemy jocks are from the 'Old Guard' testers of TOS v1.4.
