Window error report

I have version 1.0.1.1084 I am a XP users recently when ever I hit the command to Play this game it begins to load as normal then I get an window error message that says "Can't get exclusive control of screen " then my whole machine freezes up this is the only program I encounters this with. Like the game but not if this bug continues. Can anyone help???

have you tried rebooting your machine? You are playing in fullscreen correct?

yes I am forced to re-boot and to the best of my knowlege I am playing with full screen

The only time I have seen this error has been when I have accidently launched more than one instance of AE (i.e. clicking too many times on the game icon [8|] ). Perhaps a screensaver or other program is running in background that doesn't like to share resources. As usually, you might also verify that your video device drivers are up to date.
