Hi all
has anyone had trouble using Frieborg as a supply source near the start of the game? Our Austrian player is saying he was unable to supply an army of 9 corps in the area adjacent to Paris (distance 3), when there were no intervenning French corps or garrisons. I'm wondering if during the start of the game, when Frieburg is a newly activated freestate, it is not a supply source. Is it significant that is shown as "Frieburg controlled" and not "Austrian controlled"? Shouldn't all free states be under control of their major power?

I would like to see a game if possible where this is happening???
I also should note that while Freestates are "puppets" of the major, their cities will be owned by themselves (The minor). Only conquered minors will show their cities as owned by the major.

Oops, never mind. Didn't see word "adjacent". I tried starting a new game, though, and didn't seem to have any trouble supplying from Freiburg. Which area exactly was it?

Further investigation determined that the Austrian player confused his manpower and money totals, and simply didn't have the cash to pay for their supplies. Maybe we can change the font of these two boxes or seperate them some more, as I can see how this might happen.

a simple solution maybe to simply remove these boxes for tax income and manpower, and just leave the box for current accoutn balance.

The info on taxes and manpower is not needed every turn, and could be seen on the nation summaries, anyways. We can use the space along the top for something else.
