Possible problem with CV air unit resizing

Post by Sardaukar »

Hi,

Seems that after hotfixes I don't have the text "Changes to 40 xx/1944" or something to that effect.

I had all my carriers either in Sydney or in PH and second dive bomber units from US CVs were scheduled to withdraw. I flew them to base and disbanded. I waited but no automatic resize not did I have any text indicating it or any future resize.

Finally I changed all CV air to "Resize to fit ship" and have 36-36-18 in my Yorktown class carriers (Wasp etc. with different numbers), but I don't have any indication that later resize would happen.

Am I missing something? (Forgot to say that game date is April 22 1934)

This is Scen 6 started after oficial patch 2. Pic of VF-42:

None of the USN air groups have their resize options set in the scenario files.

I don't know when this happened.
Originally it was hardcoded, but the code was removed on the understanding that the values were to be set in the scenario.

Sorry, there seems to have been a mis-communication somewhere.
