Invalid Serial Number

After downloading and installing EE I went to update it with the 1.226 patch. First it says operating system not supported but give me the next instal screen then When I enter my serial Number it says it's invalid. How do I update??? I'm using Win 7 64 bit.

Just a rough stab at this Mike, but the latest patch for CoG EE that I know about is 1.0.9, might it be you have tried downloading a CoG orriginal game patch, if so that may cock things up a Tad.

I Pulled it down from the private downloads when I registered the game.

Disregard; I got the patch for GOG not GOGEE; oops!

Thanks, Kingmaker! I can't believe I didn't notice that. And here I was thinking it must be some Matrix-related serial number problem...
