anything can work in a limited role.. tanks for instance, or a screwdriver.. hell try using a screwdriver as a hammer, does not work.. no doubt a lite weight buff could be some use, BUT we really HATE them in wipt and AE due to the game modeling the real pac ww2 performence.. which really was bad... few exceiptions to the contrary

Here's interesting picture from finnish wiki.

http://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiedosto:B ... 9_side.jpg

4 soviet Hurricanes shot that plane down late june 1942. Finnish pilot dived burning plane on a small lake. He survived, but I think he was 20 km behind enemy lines. Well he made it eventually.

The plane was found and raised 1998. At the moment it's in Aviation Museum of Central Finland, borrowed from US National Naval Aviation Museum. The plane is just cleaned not restored, so bullet holes are clearly visible.

Edit: Another picture.

The Osprey book was just released, so I thought of it as a chance for some humor. I am lucky to be a friend of Jim Maas who is the author of the original Squadron In Action book on the Buffalo. We were former members together of a local IPMS Group before it was taken over by some "Nazis". Jim used to get a lot of kidding about his interest in the Buffalo, but took it with good humor. To Puhis, a photo of unrestored BW-372 is in the Osprey book.
