Thinking of Buying game, what version?

Post by DBake »

Should I get the downloadable or the hard copy of the game?

It is a $10 difference, so is it worth the difference?

Everything I see posted about this is it is worth the money, but which is better?

I downloaded and purchased the cd. My feeling is I have a hard copy of the game if my computer ever crashes. Make sure you downlaod the 1.6 and the 1.7 patches. You may only need to download 1.7, not sure.
Have fun, great game!!

I'm also about to buy and I'm trying to decide if the boxed copy is worth an extra $10.

What comes with the boxed copy? Does it have a long manual? Usually I get the boxed version if the manual is long; as was the case when I ordered Crown of Glory.

If you downloaded the game you have all the material you need to play, including the manual. The only benefit of purchasing the box version is the cd. The manual does not cover some info, so I suggest you read thru some of the threads on this forum.
