Deploy Units (extras vanished)

Hi,

I saved my game last night with a nice supply of extra land units (infantry and tanks) in my deploy units "force pool". When I loaded up my saved game today I noticed that all my extra units vanished. The deploy units button is no longer highlighted and I cannot call them up. Any suggestions on what to do to get them back? I am up to date on all the patches.

try to purchase one new unit, then Deploy button should activate and all extra units should be available

Hi Bleck,

I tried purchasing one new unit and then checked my force pool and the only one in there was the recently purchased unit. My other units from last night were gone.

Does anyone have any suggestions or is this a bug of some sort?

Could you send me this savegame (bleck[at]wastelands-interactive[dot]com)? I will check if those extra units are even listed in land_units.csv. Maybe it is a bug, although I've no idea where can it be in code, because saving units is quite simple.

oops! I noticed this after the last couple of days.

I was wondering what happened to my six units from my last saved game from 10 days ago.

So I continued to play several turns. After I asked Romaina to join the Germans via diplomacy, Romaina purchased a unit.
Then I clicked on end turn. I got a message saying "There is no route to main supply"

When it was Romania's turn again the deployment que was empty!

So I tested it and yes it does occur. Buy a unit. Save quit to windows. Que is gone!

I posted a new thread on this, and I do have a saved game. PM if you need it.

It looks like some kind of bug, we will address this issue is next patch.

Hi There,

YES I can confirm - this is a bug - if you leave units in the deploy box when you save the game and then reload that game those units vanish from the deploy box. The deplox box is empty and even if you purchase a unit, only that unit is listed and no others.

In the save game they are sill listed in the "land units" excel file far as I can see. The units I bought are still listed there correctly and have the value 1 in the "In reserve" column. However the game does not seem to check for units in the deploy box anymore when a save game is loaded??
