Turn done and sent.  Captured Tobruk in the Med though gave ground in Belgium.  I hope to hold out in Normandy long enough to bring in troops from the US.  I landed in Norway to begin my campaign of liberation up there.

As a design note, I would make the air bases along the coast ports as well.  It is very hard to supply Tobruk since it is not a port.  Wake Island is similar.

Tom, I researched this pretty well I think, and they were not ports there. (I don't currently remember my sources for that). Supply was indeed quite difficult. Wake Island also had no port facilitites or harbor. (Pacific War Encyclopedia).

Turn to West.

Final battleship at Pearl goes down and the IJN makes it's escape.

Partisans in China put down and new offensive started.... slowly.

More oil fields captured.

Turn sent.

Still holding out in France and building up in Norway.  In the med, I take one of the two remaining ports.  This theater will be secure soon.  Brits move up the Malay penisula and send planes to China.  My bombers strike 3 cities in the Ruhr.

Turn done yestrday in the evning. RL is pressing me hard so have to played turn in 30 mnts. Forget to do 50% of the nececery thing as usualy.
Situation doesnot look nice. Attack in Smolensk was a disaster. Advance halted. Partisans cut my suplay rute and whole army was left out of suplay. Rusian advance is stooped.
Menage to push back west in Europe, but they still holding one port. Norway secure for a turn but new armies of west arrived again.
I miss my subs dearly.
Italian in Africa are doomed ( no ships no chance to hold west back ). Few air attack on Malta without any sucess. Bulgaria is still neutral. As I see things they will stay neutral untill the end. Something must be done about that and something must be done about Italian ships.
Also - partisans in Romania??? Is this a bug or I miss a point ( maybe they travel from Yugoslavia to Romania?? ).
Should I garnison all cities in Germany becouse of chance that partisan may appear in Germany????? What to hell is Gestapo duing?
So far germany enginers are rebuilding almost all the loses west level bombers inflict.
Question - if a fighter group is ordered to intercept will they intercept in fighting radius of 5 squares ( same as attack radius)? Seems to me that they wont. So how to hell am I suposed to defend my cities?
If I play this game again as Germany I will play completly differend now. But 1st time is always the worst. I will learn a lot from this game.
Good luck all.

So what would you have done differently?

I would have built more DDII off the bat and also build more supply for my army in France.  They were in poor shape during the initial offensive.

I think this scenerio makes countering subs and bombers quite challenging

What will I do diferently? - lots of things
1 - in a game ws AI in first 2 turns I produce enought pp to play axis pressure card wich will give me Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Finland production centers.
2 - if I know that there is no Italian ships I will play all Italian campign diferntly.
3 - Yugoslavia will be taken ok 4-5 turn, Greece before France.
4 - no preparations for invasion on Swedan will be done since Germany cannot declare war on Swedan. Thouse troops will be used on other fronts. Ships also. Tray to imagine vhat will 6 aditional subs do in a first few turns
5 - Level bombers come as a complete suprise to me. But I find a way to deal with them now. Thanks
6 - tweber exelent moves, fast unloads in Italy and Norway, unloads in France and Arica make me lose my balance. I will prepare for that in a way that all cities will be garisoned and a fast mobile reserves will be made. And history will be forgoten ( I always have a history in mind, not a game and that is a huge problem ). Romanian partisans? Yugoslav partisans in Wienna?? Thouse are all my huge mistakes
7- Most importanat thing - German Garison SU rule was not cleare enougt ( especialy in translated way ) so I have war at Su too early and without any preparations.
I may say few other minor things but I belive that this is enought.
Bulgarian inactivity, no Italian ships of any kind and option that war cannot be declared on Swedan make my life misserable and my situation hard. But I will fight on, no matter what, since I am learning a lot form this game. Next time things will look diferently. And I hope that Gestapo will start to do some hard work on thouse Partisan since I am too blind to see what kind of demage they may do ( LOL )
But lets keep on going and see how will things develop.

Yes, these 2 things are bugs. Unfortunately, you had to be the one to find them. Both are fixed in version S.
Also - partisans in Romania??? Is this a bug or I miss a point ( maybe they travel from Yugoslavia to Romania?? ).
These would have traveled either from Yugoslavia or Soviet Union. Partisans can only appear in their home country, no need to garrison GE.
Standard AT rules here, no changes. Fighters intercept at less than their range, typically less than half. Viewing the info screen on fighters, there's a box that indicates intercept range. It varies based on what level the fighter is, and of course varies if you have less than 100AP or 100 Readiness.
Also, flak, standard and immobile, are very good defense against Level Bombers, ESPECIALLY at first, when UK fighters don't have the range to accompany them to GE cities.
Most importanat thing - German Garison SU rule was not clear enoug
Controlling the timing of the GE invasion of SU is truly essential for the GE to win.
I have tried to make the situation fairly realistic and explained clearly, but I realize it is complicated.
If you have suggestions how to make it more clear, I am very open to improving the language.
But lets keep on going and see how will things develop.

For someone who has never played humans in WaW to take on some of the best AT players anywhere, as the Germans, is truly a courageous act. And don't forget, Tom is the original designer of WaW! Combine that with 2 major bugs that have a significantly bad impact on GE, and you should be proud to just still be in the game!

But now Cveta has the opportunity to play the role of spoiler!!!
If you guys persist, it will be a race between the SU, West, and Japan to see who can actually get a victory first. Japan has the short end of the stick because they have to hold the Greater East Asian Co Prosperity Sphere for 24 turn. Soviet Union has the advantage because they just have to get Berlin.
BUT, the West could get to Berlin first, stopping Soviet Union (I see a problem here since I don't think West and SU can declare war on each other, I'll have to check into that) from winning, but may NOT be able to get Tokyo.
Germany could play a major role in how this all plays out, though not the role of victor I'm afraid.

Hope you all are at least having fun [;)]

Although I have not yet played Axis in this scenario I guess it is not an easy job. And what makes it more difficult is to have Tom as opponent. I am just playing Global Domination against him. He is close to victory. I think I have done a quite good job in that game, but I am far behind him. His performence is excellent!!! Chapeau, Monsieur Tweber! I am learning a lot in that game.

As I have played Russia and China several times in this scenario I know what to do and this makes it hard work for cveta to advance in Russia. So can only agree to explorer that it is already a success that Axis is still in the game and advancing (by the way, the attack on Smolesk was not that bad, the city is under heavy pressure and I have to take care not to face a breakthrough of Axis Army Group Center).

@explorer2: Dont worry, Russia does not have to take Tokio. China will do. I am commanding Russia and China and will split the job of winning the west and the east [:'(]

Thanks for nice words all. Yes Tom is suprising me constantly with unexpected moves and he is making life in Germany misserable. His constant bombing make lots of civilan casulties and I am thinking will he as a Chief of staff ever be prosecuted? Maybe he will stop now?
Also - Gestpo ordered that all Partisan units must be shot at the spot so maybe they wont come anymore?
And new rumor in Berlin appear - Japan is sending large fleet to fight west in English channel. And 3 armies of more than 1.000.000 japan soldiers will invade Africa to help Axis armies there. This boost moral of people in Berlin a lot.
We must keep on fighting especialy now when West is almost out of France.
And somebady mentioned war between West and Su. This will be nice. Too bad I am in the middle.

If his playing skills with some experiance would improve... (no doubt in my mind) Close to quality of his literal expression, well top players of AT would have a hard time handling him...
Cveta- I remember one war movie (old one, cannot recall the name) where characters tell jokes, and GE soldiers just fall down laughing there asses off, and dying from laughter... Maybe you should utilise that kind of PSI combat?[:D]

As usualy I mess things up. Turn 26 is with me and I just play it and send it. I am kind of lost in this new g-mail interface and I lost a track of my mails. I wont promisse that I wont do it again, lol, becouse I am realy confused with all this turns coming and going. Playing 4 games now with humans. Losing in 2 wining in 1 and even in 1.

BY the way - Explorer 2 sed that award of 1000PP will be given. Gift from haven. Fuhrer will be pleased. Finaly he will develop a long range missle wich may hit New York and Moscov and we will fill thouse with propaganda materials. So the democrats in America and the comunist in SU will see that we are nice and loving nation. After all we liberate France from the Frenchmen, and Poland from the Poles. They live happily now under German "soft" boots. And if thouse democrats and comunist dont behave we will put something else in the missles.
