Phillipines Blockade Force (CL Naka, 4 DD) sinks PT Q-112 near Batangas after Nigth Time surface combat.
Bombardment Force (CL Tatsuta-CL Tenryu) strike Wake Island before landings.
AMC Aikoku Maru spots enemy TF near Anatom (South Seas). 1 enemy AK is sunk (Theofano Livanos) and another two more are damaged. AMC Aikoku Maru damage report: 33 system, 7 flood, 6 engines. Returning to Kwajalein.

British destroyed Thanet engage Bangkok Transporting Force (1st Raiding Regiment), XAK Amagisan maru sunk (470 japanese casualties), XAK Tokai Maru is damaged (17-0-4-6) and TB Kamo is lightly damage (23-7-6-0). No damage on british DD. Our ships are returning to Camranh at Full speed.

New convoys from Hakodate-Ominato (12 Aden), Fukuoka-Shimonoseki(33 AKL) and Shangai-Shimonoseki (9 Aden)
From Dec 8th to Dec 16th, 923.636 tons of resources have been loaded in convoys to Honshu. (782.498 unloaded at Honshu, 141.138 shipped and not unloaded yet).
From Dec 8th to Dec 16th, 112.600 tons of oil have been shipped to Honshu, all awaited to arrival.
From Dec 8th to Dec 16th, 69.600 tons of fuel have been shipped to Honshu, all awaited to arrival.

01 convoyed ship was sunk by submarine action and another Aden class XAK have been damage by enemy torpedo (under repairs at Port Arthur).

ASW WARFARE

SS Porpoise attacked near Soc Trang two times unsuccesfully.

DEC 17TH 1941. WAR REPORT.

SUBMARINE, ASW WARFARE AND CONVOY SYSTEM:

A new convoy line have been approved. 10 x Lima Cargo Ships will be convoyed from Shikuka to Maizuru.

Two new convoys have been docked at departure port today:

-Convoy 036 (Hakodate-Ominato), with 12 Adens
-Convoy 037 (Nagasaki-Shimono..)with 09 Adens

Ambon have fallen in our hands (4.219 allied casualties). A JNAF Air Co will be transfered by Air (H6K4) from Babeldaob tomorrow.

CHINA WAR

3rd and 6th Infantry Division go on with their offensive to Changsha. Shock attack against 20th & 37th Chinese Corps. 4.478 chinese casualties vs 742 japanese lost.

At Ichang, bombardment against enemy position: 227 chinese lost.

At 87,56, 12th Ind.Mixed Brigade have shock attack enemy positiosn (28th Chinese Corps with 10th Group Army HQ). 2.838 chinese lost vs 194 japanese casaulties.
