Hello Dasher,
You can download it from Davewolf's WIR site
http://www.davescorner.de/index_en.html
Or if you cannot download it, then please contact me with your e-mail address and I can e-mail it to you.
Enjoy!
"We're having a war, and we want you to come!"
So the pig began to whistle and to pound on a drum.
"We'll give you a gun, and we'll give you a hat!"
And the pig began to whistle when they told the piggies that.

But bee ready to meet hordes of Soviet fighters over Mother Russia even under the first move, strange to send your small bomber and fighter cover into a country were the armed forces were orderd NOT to give the Germans an escuse for war, still you are attacked by 500- 800 fighters that WILL sometimes abort your bombers.

Good luck

Ive also donwloaded and played the Possum V5. Very nice. More challenge against the AI. But something confused me.

The good thing was, that I was not able to take Leningrad or Moskau until the blizzards (with the regular versions I had never problems to take at least one of this cities).

Ive reached following line: Leningrad (surounded) - Moskau (half surrounded) - secured Orel (Tula still sowjet) - secured Charkow (Kursk still sowjet) - secured Rostov.

The losses until Dec. 1941:

Axis / Sowjet

Squads: 14.000 - 77.000
AVF 3.200 - 18.400
Guns 2.100 - 25.000
Planes 3.600 - 20.100

And the "problem":

During the blizzards, the sowjets did not attack. No counterattack occurs. Ive thought, that no conterattack occurs, if the axis have secured at least leningrad or moskau (or both).

Only one Korps (with 3 Div) was shattered by an single sowjet attack.
I was able to save my reeinforcments during the winter and crush the sowjets in 1942 (Leningrad taken in 3/42 - Moskau taken in 6/42 - Stalingrad in 8/42).

My question is: Why no sowjet winter counterattack?
Had the sowjets gained to much losses druing 41? Any ideas?

Greets

When the Soviets take to much damage they wont have enough troops to attack, they are rebuilding and hopufully you will not have it easy in the spring.

Sometimes it take a couple of turns/months before they have enough with troops.

Perhaps to simulate the true state of things (or closer to the truth) would be to modify the scenario by setting all of the Red fighter wings on TR (training).
Jesus ...., with all respect. This closet germanism is allways killing me.
