I've ordered the I and III Corps AoV to advance west towards Groveton. Sigel's I Corps sent Schurtz's Division north of the Warrenton Turnpike, while Schenck's Division moved south of the road. Milroy's Independent Brigade scouted the woods south of Groveton. Reynolds' Division of the III Corps began marching west, to the left flank of Schenck's Division. I want the entire force to straddle the Warrenton Turnpike, and prepare the positions for both offensive and defensive operations against the enemy, who is dug in along the old railroad bed, and on the stony ridge to the northwest.
