A Lurker stops lurking.

Post by drillerman »

Hi everyone,
I have been lurking around these forums for a few years, back when a space game supremacy was released and never ever felt the urge to join in............until now!
This game has really got my 4X space strategy juices flowing. From all the info already mentioned on this forum it actually sounds too good. It seems to tick all my boxes. I do wonder however, how good the AI is, as with most 4X strategy games it always seems quite easily beatable.
Anyway, I wait impatiently twiddling my thumbs hoping the game will come out soon. Are we looking at a February release, ohhh I would think so.
Huh?

I know what you mean man! I tend to be quite quiet on game forums but as soon as I saw this, the part of me that enjoys games like starships unlimited and sins of a solar empire screamed in joy! XD

I cannot wait to see it released, but only when the devs feel that it's ready!

Welcome back lurker. [;)]

DW has really made me a lurker to activist as well, and while Matrix Games is not known for Demos, I will dutifully say this is an instant buy for me.

I was suspecting a mid feb release but the recent news about some of the Matrix staff out with a nasty flu bug, it has been delayed a little.

So we are all hoping at least the end of Feb. [&o]

@dingbatt911: EXACTLY what happened to me too. Last time I was pro-active on a forum like this was when X2: The Threat came out, and that was mainly because i needed some serious support as it was so bug-ridden to begin with. There's something about DW though that's compelling. I like the smallish forum too, all of you guys seem pretty cool!

Yeah I registered because of this game as well. If the release is "within February" then we can just add another reason to love that there are only 28 days in the month.
Otherwise February sucks because all the bills are due "early" :-)
