Auto-select

Hi all

Was trying to setup couple of air combat TF's in the Guadalcanal scenario.
When using Autoselect it doesn't select, the new TF slot is empty.
I'm in Noumea, Sept 14 1942 and Hornets arrived and I was just disbanding my existing TF's to set up/streamline new ones.
I've kind of never used Auto before in WITP only because I liked doing it myself.
Thought I'd try Auto.
But it won't let me auto select!!
Not that bothered but it's bugging me a tad now that I've tried and it doesn't seem to select?

Any ideas?

Did you disband the Carrier into the port? If not it won't select because there is no carrier for an air tf.
