RE: Speed estimate in warp speed of USN Enterprise
USN Enterprise was engaged in the Banda Sea on Dec27 last know position was Pearl Harbor( before the war). Need to know the speed of said carrier. Please define warp speed with estimate. SAA command interecepted a communication a few days earlier which we believe was from the USN Enterprise-- " Scottie we need more warp speed!". It is important that Combined Fleet receives this estimates soon.

One --Why does a my carrier look so big when an enemy sub is firing a torpedo at it?
Two-- Why did I ever think that was a good idea?
After many smashings of the forehead against the wall, an inspiration came to light.

Heavy blow. You really need to play 3 carriers vs his 2 rule of thumb. To be even.
2 : 1 to be victorious. In carrier to carrier rumble.
So, You can not afford to split KB before you will send at least 2 of his carriers home for a serious damage management.

Thanks for the input
When I decided to split the KB and send the Akagi and Kaga west, they were to join up with Ryjuo and Taiyo. At that time I felt the American carriers were either in Suva or east OZ. Never dreamed that in 21 days they would be at Darwin. After the Lexington took three torpedos I had a 2-1 carrier adv. I just missed up.
Akagi is still limping away. Can she be saved? Time will tell. As for the Lexington is the chart of air losses an indicator that maybe the Lexington is sunk. This turn it shows heavy losses of USN carrier air groups on the ground or is FOG?
