YES TORMATO!!!!

Post by drillerman »

From the Classic 1978 Yes album (I am that old)........TORMATO comes the most apt song title for this game..

RELEASE RELEASE

Sorry couldn't resist!!![:D]

Can anyone think of anymore good song titles that may be appropriate for this game...
..................and no, "Several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave and grooving with a pict" won't do!
Huh?

As long as it doesn't fall into the hands of a "21st Century Schizoid Man" it will do well in this "Court of The Crimson King" and could even become my "Epitaph".

But since I'm a "Moon Child" "I Talk to the Wind" quite often.

But it will require "Discipline", with so much "Elephant Talk" on the forums

I love "Arriving UFO"!!!!

I am actually "Close to the edge" with anticipation. You could quite easily become a "stargazer" playing this game, which could end in "Moonmadness". Sorry!!!

How you doin'!

Maybe DW will have the same Forum camaraderie that MoO3 had. Odes to the Forum was/is still one of my fondest places to post.

I was a lurker at the MoO3 forum for years but never felt the urge to join. Funny how this game made me want to get involved with the forum chit-chat.
Is anyone still playing MoO3 with all the different patches etc. Bhurics patch was a big one if I remember. It was all a bit Dry, sort spreadsheety for me.

Yes it's still being played. We get a new player coming in asking questions about every week.

The Major Mods (all based off of Bhruic's MoO3Patcher and Patches) are basically finished works.

I have 2 Mods published based on the core game myself. But I always recommend Bhruic's Patcher and Patches as they are essential. I've played it for 7 years now just like I played MoO2 for 7 years. I even have a working PII comp with win 95 as the OS just to play the original Master of Orion. So yeah I'm a big fan of the series.

Besides my 2 mods and the Odes to the Forum thread in OT my biggest contribution is the General Discussion Stickied thread Evon 1.2.5. It's a single game of MoO3 that lasted over six months of continuous play. It was a Sole Survivor game.

I'm Hoping I will get the same satisfaction from DW as I do from MoO3 and the rest of the Series. And that is saying a lot.

Great. Still have a 4X itch that needs skratchin now and again.
Hope there will be a 4X game someday that I can win at, at a level higher than 'gaming impaired'. [8|]

Where did you find a system slow enough for the original MOO?
That came out between 486's and Pentium Is!!![;)]

I am now little rusty(dont play for some time and forget some things) and AI kick my furry ass.
Anyway still good game.
MoO is teh best game from 4x space forever. And one of the best game ever.

I still have a working PII 400Mhz with win 95 as the OS to play it. [:D]

I also play Imperium Galactica II on it, and Dune II. [&o]

Now back to drillerman's intent, DW has "Dazed and Confused Me!" while I wait for the "Silver Ships". They call, "Are you Recieving Me?".

I wanted to resurrect this thread, so here goes:    "Are You There?" with release DW so I can bring some "Balance" to my life. I hope this game is a "Childhood Dream" for me and not "A Natural Disaster". I have "Electricity" pulsing through me with anticipation, so let's make sure you are "Closer" to release and I won't start any "Violence".

This was an album of the year for me when it came out, certainly not what I was expecting and it just gets better and better with every listen. Stunning!!!![&o]Does anyone know which album these songs come from?
Huh?

English Goth Band called 'Anathema'... Was interested in them when I was young, but grew out of it, but dark if you ask me.
