csv zoom question.

Post by jack54 »

Hi all,

Some unit counters sets change to national flags at a closer zoom level than other sets,

what lines on the csv control this?; I'd like to make them more consistant.

thanks!-- Jack

thanks Bleck,

I figured it was those lines I'm just confused as to when the counters change to 'flags'.Is it a zero(0) zoom level that causes this to happen?

#1
200 zoom level
#2
70 zoom level
#3
0 zoom level (change to flags)?

sorry to be a pain; I'm just tring to understand thanks!

From the example you posted I can tell that set #1 is used in closest zoom (200% to 70%), set #2 is used when zoom is in range 70%-0%. Because there are no more sets to use (next set #3 is activated when zoom reaches 0%, so it will never happen) I'm sure that set #2 is the one with big flag. You can tell it by looking into values at the beginning of line commented as "Flag Rect", most probably:

47;59;72;48;Flag Rect;;;;;;;;;

those are positionX;positionY;sizeX;sizeY of flag when using this set. Since hex size is something like 100x100, then this flag is quite big (72x48), so this is the set you are looking for. It is activated on zoom level 70, you can change this.
