Typhoon Armament

Starting a new '43 campaign as Allies I was looking through my Typhoon Sqns and noticed that 2 are armed in the 8 x 60lb Rocket configuration and all the other squadrons are armed with 2 x 1,000lb Bombs.

Is there anyway to change between the two loadouts?
Will it change randomly or will the Rocket armed Sqns always use rockets and the bomb armed sqns always use bombs?
If I convert a sqn to Typhoons how is it determined how it is armed?
Does it even make a difference weather they have bombs or rockets?

(you got Tiffies with Rockets ? thought I only gave them to the Canes ?)

rockets work as smaller bombs, but, target AFV's if around, they will work the same as the bombs if a non AFV target is picked

no, can't change out of it, if you change model/type, you get the default loadout, which would be bombs

always stay with what it has, other then, if upgraded

in real life, there were Rocketphoons and Bombphoons (different training, attack style and what not)

(until the code wants to use the rockets right, they are not really added in, I have added in my verison of the rockets and given them to the Canes, they work very well vs AFV, so a reason to keep some Canes in your line up)

The rocket armed Hurricanes do surprisingly nice work against radars and railyards too.
