i hate the HIPERMEGA-valoration of the US and USMC.
full squads of rambos.

I voted under other for Canada ... Canucks took on Hitler's best SS units in Normandy as green troops and held their own. They also get the great U.S. equipment plus the 17lb AT gun and Firefly tank. However I will admit that the Germans have all the really cool toys to play with ...

of the underdogs...I have a long campaign (started many moons ago ) where I started as the Poles in 39' and have so far made it to Jan. 43' in North Africa.

No real favourite, I like various armies for various reasons.
Mixed feelings about the Germans, though. They're almost too good, while I like armies with some sort of handicap (Japanese and Brittish tanks, for ex)

If the evil forum would let me vote I would have voted for The Finns and Russia. Finland is really fun early war and not much beats the late war Russian tanks.

Japanese and Germans. The latter because it's rather straightforward (IMO) what to do with 'em, while the former because of those nifty SNLF commandoes with a knee mortar in every squad. That's a nice handful of suppression right there.

I picked germans, but only cause they are always there.

I wonder why?

In my case:

a) For playing you mean?

1- The Soviets (yeah, I like the T-43 ...specially in 1943 when they are outclassed by German Armour and you have to be very smart to get close to the Tigers and kill them ... I like those leather hats ... and red is my favourite collor)

2- The British (I like the Sherman ... I like the 17pnd ... then I love the Fireflys

... And brits are so cool!! They are not such a "rambos" like the Americans, I mean, any one can take a Tigre with a bazooka; try now with a PIAT! If you can, now you are a good player! ... they have all those funny infantry tanks ... and they always finish the war at 4:55 to have a cup of tea at 5:00.

3- All others ... well, the germans a little more among "all the others" ... Germans has all those beautifull toys ...

I love to play Germans but voted for Russkies...

Because US/USMC are supermen vs all...
Because Germans are supermen vs Soviets...
Because I would play a game that treats Soviets with fair-play...
Because some nations are heavily overrated (I repeat myself, I know it)...
Because some nations are heavily underrated...
Because I love East Front history...
Because East Front is 70%+ of WWII, in almost every aspect...
Because I am thinking in CL...
Because I dont want to see the spwaw inconsistences in Combat Leader, please...

Muy decepcionado me habéis dejado, un juego que prometía mucho y todo se ha acabado. Ya no sé con que bando jugar, porque todo esta descompensado...

¿ Por qué ?

CL, Dejaréis de sacar updates después de un breve tiempo ? ¿ Y morira otro posible gran juego ?
